Car thefts and break and enters in Armidale are on the rise, according to the latest New South Wales crime statistics.
However the figures, released today, show the number of assaults have fallen in the 24 months to December last year.
Retail theft continues to be a problem in the Tamworth region, up nearly 66 per cent.
While domestic violence incidents in Narrabri have jumped nearly 60 per cent.
