An elderly woman is lucky to be alive following a nasty cycling accident at Moore Creek this morning.
The 70-year-old was riding her bike along Manilla Road at around 10:30am when she was struck by a car.
The woman was rushed to Tamworth Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the car will undergo routine testing.
