A teenager has been charged after two 17-year-old’s were glassed at a beach party at Lake Macquarie.
Police were called to the party at Redhead’s Second Creek after reports of an assault.
There, they were approached by one of the victims who had a laceration to the face and neck. The second victim suffered a wound to the back of the head. Both were taken to Belmont Hospital.
A 17-year-old will face assault and reckless wounding charges in the Children’s Court in May.
