The Fullerton Cove Residents Action Group is celebrating, after the Land and Environment Court rejected the state government’s bid to have the body pay its legal costs, following an unsuccessful legal challenge to coal seam gas drilling in the region.
The residents believe they have deterred companies from making further attempts at coal seam gas exploration in the suburb.
