Tamworth Hospital has received a much needed boost to its surgical services.
$270,000 has been invested in new power tools for orthopaedic surgery, a new ultrasound machine for anaesthetics and endoscopy equipment.
A new orthopaedic surgeon has also arrived, which is expected to improve surgery waiting times for patients.
