FRENCH NAILING DOWN SPOT IN FIRST GRADE

It was another strong showing from Tingha junior Bevan French, scoring his second NRL try in as many weeks for the Eels on Saturday night.
The winger raced 75 metres to cross the stripe against the Gold Coast, but not before crashing into the goal post.
Thankfully he was uninjured, playing out the rest of Parramatta’s 22-12 win.
Coming in to the side through injury, French is making a name for himself – building on his Auckland Nines campaign, where he ran in eight tries to earn team of the tournament honours.
