The bushfire danger period for the Mid North Coast officially begins tomorrow, meaning a permit will be required to conduct hazard reduction burning.
The Rural Fire Service has brought the season forward by a month, due to the warm dry winter.
With a number of fires already burning across the region, it’s urging residents to prepare their bushfire survival plans.
