A 17-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated break and enter, following a violent home invasion in East Kempsey yesterday morning.
It’s alleged the teenager broke into an elderly couple’s home on Rudder Street, where he pushed a 77-year-old woman to the floor and kicked her in the face.
She was hospitalised with head injuries.
The boy turned himself into police at around 11 o’clock last night.
