The fate of the Grafton Ghosts and South Grafton Rebels is expected to be decided by Country Rugby League as early as next week.
Talks between National and State league officials were held on Tuesday night, over whether to make border changes to local league competitions.
If so, both the Rebels and the Ghosts may have to move from the NRRRL, to Group Two Rugby League.
It’s a prospect both teams say they’re open to.
