LISMORE FLOOD APPEAL REACHES $1.5 MILLION DOLLARS AS FIRST ROUND OF GRANTS CLOSE

Round one of the Lismore Flood Appeal Grants has now closed.

Council says $1-million will be distributed to applicants who had their homes inundated on February 28.

Round two will open at a later date…to ensure those who haven’t been able to apply will still have the chance to.

Council’s flood recovery fund is so far up to $1.5 million dollars thanks to generous donations.

Residents who live in the inundation zone and suffered property damage or loss can apply for a Flood Appeal Grant through Council’s website.
