Family and friends of a motorbike accident survivor have started a special appeal to raise awareness about donating blood.
Greg Harris was left fighting for his life after the horrific crash at Newcastle’s Kooragang Island last month.
He required numerous blood transfusions to stay alive, and remains in a serious condition.
Today residents in his home suburb of Stockton rolled up their sleeves to help others in need.
