An elderly woman has avoided serious injury after her car collided with a truck near Bangalow today.
It’s believed she was turning off the Bangalow Road towards Booyong, when the Holden Wagon she was driving crashed into the oversized freight truck around midday.
It was a lucky escape for the local woman, who narrowly avoided a three metre embankment.
