Two youngsters from the Sawtell Club have won the North Coast section of the Junior Surf Life Saving Awards.
Anna Fry and James Murray won two new longboards for their club.
They were judged on their leadership and communication skills, as well as performances in the surf.
North Coast Surf Lifesaving spokesman Mick Carrah said,”look it’s a big deal – they’re the best young life savers coming through on the north coast.”
The pair will attend a camp in Sydney where the state winners will be chosen.
