A Runaway Bay man, who stabbed his estranged wife more than 30 times on the eve of Valentine’s Day, has been sentenced to 12 years jail.
58-year-old Michael Bewley was found guilty of attempted murder following the attack at the couple’s home in 2011.
Bewley will now spend at least a decade behind bars after being declared a serious violent offender.
