GOFUNDME STARTED TO RAISE MONEY FOR DEFIBS AFTER MAN DIES AT WATEGOS BEACH

The Byron Bay community has been quick to band together, raising money for three defibrillators to be installed at local beaches.

This GoFundMe page was started after the death of Phillip Jones, who was pulled from Wategos Beach unconscious late last week.

The project aims to have defibrillators installed at Wategos, Clarkes Beach and The Pass in Phil’s memory.

More than $7,000 has been raised so far.
