The state government today announced more than $200-million will be spent on in the installation of seat belts in some school buses.
Almost 1,700 vehicles will be fitted with the safety device across rural and regional New South Wales over the next 10 years.
However buses which run a regular bus service, on top of daily school routes, will not be covered by the funding.
