The New England Nomads didn’t slacken off despite Gunnedah forfeiting their Tamworth AFL match yesterday.
In a bid to maintain match fitness before the finals in two weeks, the Nomads set up an inter-club game, with squad members using it as a chance to press for a starting berth.
The Nomads take on the Tamworth Kangaroos next week.
