Newcastle’s Tegan Martin has narrowly missed out on being crowned Miss Universe Australia, finishing first runner up last night.
19-year-old Olivia Wells from Melbourne took out the title, and is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former winners Jennifer Hawkins, Jesinta Campbell and Rachael Finch.
She’ll represent Australia in the Miss Universe final at Moscow in November.
