The red carpet was rolled out in Byron Bay again last night, for the official closing ceremony of the Byron Bay International Film Festival.
A handful of awards were handed out including best local film-maker, which went to funny man Akmal Saleh for his documentary, “Pharaoh versus the Egyptians.”
“This story is about what happens when the people stop believing in propaganda and lose their fear”
The 10-day-event will draw to a close tonight with a screening of “Le Souffle Court” which took out best short film.
