Police are investigating a suspicious house fire at Inverell overnight.
Just after one o’clock this morning, emergency services were called to the Butler Street address and found the front of the house well alight.
A woman and a teenager were home at the time, but neither suffered any injuries.
Investigators have been told a loud bang was heard out the front just before the fire started.
