FOX BEYOND DRIVEN IN INVESTIGATION

A senior police officer involved in a strike force set-up to investigate child abuse cover-ups by the Catholic Church has described whistleblower, Detective Chief Inspector Peter Fox, as a zealot and that his involvement in the case was beyond driven.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Humphrey also told the Special Commission of Inquiry today he filed a complaint against Mr Fox when he had well-founded suspicion he’d been involved with a series of leaks to Newcastle Herald journalist Joanne McCarthy.
