Seventy-nine people have been charged on the Gold Coast after a two night police crackdown on drugs and drunken bad behaviour.
Last night, plain-clothes and uniformed officers marched the streets with sniffer dogs.
Eight people were busted with drugs, including crystal meth and ecstasy, while almost 30 others were arrested for offences including seriously assaulting police, and possessing a weapon.
Since the operation started 18 months ago, almost 400 people have been put before the courts.
