A man is dead after a motorcycle accident just before midday today on the Gap Road near Werris Creek.
Police believe he lost control of the special ‘ural’ motorbike with sidecar, when approaching a tight left-hand bend to go under an overpass.
He then hit the brick pylon supporting the bridge.
The man’s son was in the sidecar – and escaped with minor injuries.
