The Department of Primary Industries is carrying out an investigation, after a large amount of prohibited-sized bream were illegally dumped at Seal Rocks.
The pile was found last week at the end of a track near the National Parks gate – it has since been removed.
A department spokesperson says it’s looking into the matter and will endeavour to identify the persons responsible, with the view of prosecuting the offenders.
