The 2005 sale of a University of New England-controlled property has been referred to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
In December 2005, the Tattersalls Hotel was sold by UNE to the company Armpub Number 1.
However, the university today couldn’t confirm whether or not that sale was the one in question.
Vice Chancellor professor Jim Barber says he referred the sale to ICAC in accordance with the Act and the university will co-operate fully with the investigation.
