WINGHAM CELEBRATES SCOTTISH HERITAGE

There was a taste of Scotland in the Manning Valley today, as hundreds turned out to celebrate the 9th annual Bonnie Wingham Scottish Festival.
The main festivities kicked off this morning, with clans parading their family tartan and marching to the sound of bagpipes down Isabella Street.
They marched to Central Park, where it seemed everyone was getting into the Highland spirit.
Games, music and the Medieval Warriors in battle entertained the crowd throughout the day.
The festival wraps up tomorrow night with the Grand Scottish Concert at Wingham Town Hall.
