SURFING THOSE HOT WINDS

There was a group who made the most of those hot winds over the past few days.
Windsurfers from both here and overseas hit Jimmy’s Beach near Hawks Nest for the Oceanic and Australian Championships.
Brazil’s Wilhelm Schurmann was almost unbeatable with the World number two winning 7 of the 8 races at the regatta.
The best placed Aussie was Sean O’Brien in third, good enough for him to claim his fifth National title.
