Pooches of all shapes and sizes were today given free reign at Port Macquarie’s Racecourse for the RSPCA’s Million Paws Walk.
Hundreds took part in the annual event, which is expected to raise about $4000 for the local shelter.
Money donated from the walk will go to the upgrade of the laundry, and the addition of a hydro bath.
“Is focusing on being able to donate money towards animal welfare, and it’s cruelty against animals is our focus this year.”
While in Coffs Harbour, a change in venue from near the airport to Park Beach Reserve attracted the biggest crowd in recent years.
