A Gaven man is charged with attempted murder accused of setting fire to his ex-girlfriend’s home yesterday, while she slept beside her new partner.
It’s alleged 21 year old Kyle Tasman Tubb broke into the Coomera house, and used an accelerant to set fire to the loungeroom before stealing his alleged victim’s car.
Chloe Alty and Christopher Hewitson suffered smoke inhalation while escaping the blaze.
The case has been adjourned until tomorrow.
