WEATHER UPDATE: CHILLY NIGHTS MOSTLY FINE DAYS

Night time temperatures remain chilly thanks to cool, consistent southerly winds pumping that cold air northward.

Tomorrow those winds will ease further so the coastal showers will break up even more becoming less frequent and only affecting the coastal fringe so the rest of the week will be mostly fine east of the divide but remaining partly cloudy with the occasional isolated shower.

The big dry across the NW will continue for the rest of the week.

Swell along the coast will abate but another burst of swell is on the way this weekend with another low likely to form in the Tasman.
