The catholic church is receiving positive feedback following an unprecedented apology, posted online, by the Bishop of the Maitland-Newcastle diocese, Michael Malone.
The church says the video webcast is an apology for the shame and damage experienced by so many as a result of sexual abuse by church personnel. The apology can be seen in full here.
