Hundreds gathered at St Andrews Church today for the unveiling of the new Sandakan memorial window.
The Sandakan Death Marches are widely considered to be the worst atrocity suffered by Australian servicemen during World War 2 – and today Lismore paused to remember those who paid the ultimate price.
