The excitement’s building for the City Country Rugby League game in Coffs Harbour on Sunday week.
The best performers at the traditional clash are chosen for the Blues squad to play the Maroons in the State of Origin series.
The Country Squad will be chosen this Sunday before they fly to Coffs Harbour next week.
“We arrive here next Tuesday so we’ll have six days to prepare for the game and got a lot of things planned to do in the community as well – a lot of our training sessions will be open for people to come and have a look,” said Trent Barrett, the Country Coach.
More than 2500 tickets have been sold so far.
