The Ebor Community Group is receiving $4,000 to construct a new war memorial.
Work got underway this week, with the Community Group’s president Brian Hillier turning the first sod.
The new memorial will honour the Ebor township and Guy Fawkes District residents who served their country.
It’s being constructed at the Ebor Guy Fawkes Cemetery, the funding from the Federal Government’s ‘Saluting Their Service’ grants program.
