RAAF FAREWELLS HORNET JETS

There was a spectacular display by FA-18 fighter jets off the coast of Newcastle this morning.

All eyes were on the sky as four Hornets swept into view… part of a farewell and thankyou tour for the Williamtown-based aircraft.

They’re being phased out as the RAAF moves onto the Joint Strike Fighter.

A similar display will be held at 10am tomorrow off Birubi Point, along with other activities at Williamtown later in the week.
