One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on the Gwydir Highway near Inverell last night.
The car was travelling east when it collided head-on with a semi-trailer at around 9 o’clock.
The driver of the truck, a middle-aged man from Sydney, was not injured.
Police are still investigating.
