People power has prevailed in the latest round of Fairfax job cuts on the Mid North Coast.
The Manning River Times today announced they will retain one full-time photographer in their Taree office.
It comes after initial restructure plans indicated the newspaper would only employ one photographer one day a week, sparking a community petition against the decision.
