More than 50 anti-coal seam gas protestors have nailed a plea for help on a door at the entrance to Federal MP, Janelle Saffin’s office.
They chanted, “Protect our water protect our land. Federal Government hear our plea.”
The group is calling on the federal government to exercise its constitutional powers to protect the region against the mining activity.
Janelle Saffin said, “I said I would certainly do that continuing what i’m already doing with Minister Burke on the environment protection and biodiversity act.”
