Local politicians will saddle up for the annual mountain goat race at the Comboyne Show this weekend.
Last year Member for Oxley, Andrew Stoner took the title, but this year he’s leaving it to Rob Oakeshott, Leslie Williams, Peter Besseling and David Gillespie to fight it out.
Now in its 76th year, the event will also feature the traditional dog show, equestrian events, live music and arts and craft exhibitions.
Goat races start at 10am on Saturday at the Comboyne Showground.
