Port Macquarie’s Ben Sprague has been named as the new coach of this year’s Group Three representative team.
He’ll follow Dave Henry, who’s coached for the past four years and taken the team to the semi-finals in 2011 and 2012.
The board decided to give Sprague the position, following his success co-coaching the Port City Breakers with Darren Roach.
Player selections will begin in May, ahead of the first game against Group 14 in Moree on June one.
