WATT STARS AT HUNTER TRACK CLASSIC

How else would you expect Australia’s greatest ever long jumper to arrive.

Olympic silver medalist Mitchell Watt was the star attraction as the national athletics grand prix circuit began last night with the Hunter Track Classic at Glendale.

And he didn’t disappoint, from a half-start Watt won with a jump of 7.54 metres.

In the men’s 100, Olympic relay runner Anthony Alozie took another step towards his quest to be crowned the fastest man in Australia.

NBN will have a full wrap of the Hunter Track Classic in the news tomorrow night
