University and high school students from New South Wales and Queensland are swapping chocolate for competition, taking on the Easter Volleyball Carnival in Coffs Harbour.
The tournament has made a return to Sports Central after a 10-year hiatus.
“The standard from the visitors is brilliant that’s why we’ve got to get our guys up to speed our mixed comp is great but we’ve really got to work on this. Our young girls side is doing well against a more experienced side of players” said Adrian Pickup.
The tournament features teams from Bond and Griffith University, while Baulkam Hills has also entered teams in both the men’s and women’s competition.
Semi finals are from midday tomorrow.
