The Ironman series hit Newcastle today and it was Matt Poole storming home to win round 2 of the series.
In the Ironwoman event, Candice Falzon and Courtney Hancock were hoping for redemption in Newcastle, but it was the world champion Brodie Moir who dominated all four races.
