The road to Diamond Beach is newly sparkling – well at least a 2.7 kilometre stretch is.
The upgrade has been completed to cater for increased traffic volume and provide a safer surface for local cyclists.
And it’s been finished with several weeks still to go on school holidays.
$2.6 million in Federal and council funds went into the improvements.
