Reigning champions, Mid North Coast, have made it through to the final of the under 16s Stan Austin Cricket Carnival, after defeating Hunter in today’s round three match.
Hunter won the toss, sending Mid North Coast in to bat.
Singleton’s Tully Windsor quickly accounted for openers Hayden Clarke and Tom Allen.
Taree’s Dean Mills made some big hits, but it wasn’t enough, with Ben Duncan getting his hands on the ball to send the captain off after just 17 runs.
His team eventually managed a respectable total of 208.
The final gets underway tomorrow at Johnny Martin Oval.
