A Gold Coast father has been charged with threatening the safety of airline passengers, by shining a lazer into two commercial planes and a police helicopter overnight.
37-year-old Jason Gavins was allegedly found operating the laser light in his Ormeau backyard.
“Just about last night, nothing to do with me open the door.”
Gavins will front court next month.
