KNIGHTS RABBITOHS GAME FOR COFFS STILL ON

Despite concerns over the future of the Newcastle Knights, the club’s pre-season clash with South Sydney in Coffs Harbour early next year, will still go ahead.
Last week there were doubts over the game when the Tax Office attempted to wind down the Knight’s operations over unpaid debts.
Officials have since reassured the public it’s business as usual, and today the Coffs Harbour City Council confirmed it has been given a guarantee.
Council Sports Manager Leanne Atwal said, “we’ve had recent confirmation from the Knights that they are definitetly going to be in the NRL competition next year and will definitely be honouring their trial commitments to the city.”
Tickets for the February game are now on sale.
