Yamba’s Chris Zaffis has claimed silver and gold, at the Australian Junior Surfing titles in Tasmania.
In the 16’s boys finals, Zaffis come up less than one point short, of first placed Jacob Wilcox from Western Australia.
Zaffis scored 11.45 for his two best waves.
He also won the teams event for Maclean High school, with fellow student James Young.
