Police are looking for a man who robbed an elderly woman in Forster last night.
The 79-year-old and her friend returned to their car at around 9.30pm, after playing bingo at the Forster Bowling Club.
A man approached the car and opened the front passenger door, reaching in to steal her handbag.
The woman tried to pull it away, but was unable to stop him.
He escaped with a small amount of cash.
