Lake Macquarie’s Nick Flanagan is easily the Hunter’s best hope, following the opening round of the Australian Open.
Leigh McKechnie finished on even par, while Jake Higginbottom recovered from a tough start to finish at two over, but it was Flanagan who put himself in contention.
